Yulara has been interested in the human animal bond since her early years. She studied the psychological impact of therapy animals at the University of Lethbridge. After moving back to the Calgary area she decided to pursue her lifelong interest in veterinary medicine by enrolling in the Veterinary Healthcare Assistant program through CDI College. She joined BCVC as a practicum student and has become an integral member of the team. She shares her life with her two cats, Lucia and Bliisa, dog Luna, and her husband.
